Other Options for Cargo Business

The businesses described on the "Businesses Leading the Way" page are just a few of the myriad imaginable options for meeting their business' needs. We've imagined a couple of other possibilities.

For example, "Big Pink" featuring eye-catching color, two waterproof & lockable boxes for a dry and secure cargo hold, and BionX power to turn that hily cross-town death march into a moderate bike ride. This bike can carry a total of 400 pounds in 18,000 cubic inches of the box space. With the large space on top of the boxes you could easily strap-on more boxes or bins for increased overflow capacity.

But we are not finished yet, what if we emblazoned your brand logo onto the side of the boxes? What effect would a rig like this have on your business in your community? Certainly free PR and advertising everyday would not hurt...we would venture to guess that many potential customers would be overwhelmed with positive thoughts about your brand, no?

Or, what if you don't want to advertise your own business but would benefit instead if you "SOLD" the advertising space on the side of the boxes to another business that could benefit from a roadside rolling billboard? Hmm...think of the possibilities!

For a secure and waterproof trailer this set-up provides an aluminum box with side door access. The possibilities for what you could do with this trailer nearly limitless (well the trailer has a 300# weight limit). Transport your merchandise to your customers wherever they are located. Food,  coffee, flowers, cart, parts delivery - what's your business?

You might use a just the Bullitt cargo bike for most days then increase the capacity with a trailer when needed on your bigger days. 

1. With a motorized heavy duty cargo bike pulling a heavily loaded trailer, the issue of trailer jack-knifing on descents becomes a non-issue because of the balanced load between bike and trailer-which is the key to safe heavy duty trailer hauling on hills.
